On Wednesday night the Rifties joined Saroir's guild, Conquerors, in heroic BRF. It was great fun smashing through bosses and we got two progression bosses down. However, the buzz from the Rifties seemed to indicate that we would all rather go on our own and struggle through with the whole team rather than just a few of us who play really well going with another guild. However, a select few have been chosen to go with Saroir on the nights that we aren't muddling through on our own.
It's important to remember a lot of Saroirs team are ten item levels above our team. Once we get through to the next raid with the 690 gear we will be doing well. I think our strats work well for our team and we have nice clean kills of the heroic bosses we down. In fact I went with a PuG guild earlier in the week who were struggling with Hans and Franz. I referred them to our video nearly everyone commented on how clean the kill was and how coordinated the fight looked.
We've taken a big hit with our core raid team losing four people being the Gladstone boys for a variety of reasons. Maddy ran into some net issues but is back now. A few people have decided to join us being Beartank, Pangitmage and Seebo so we are gradually building the team back up. We still have Sol and Nourish who are really core raiders from other servers.
